The IATP Jan Platt Memorial Scholarship
The Jan Platt Scholarship was created in 2021 to honor IATP Founding Chair, Jeff Platt's mother who lost her battle with cancer before she could experience the explosive growth of Sky Zone and the indoor trampoline park industry.
Jan was a huge part of the Sky Zone story pushing her husband and son to never give up. Even in the face of adversity she continued to encourage them to stay the course. Her positive outlook despite her personal struggles should prove to be an inspiration for all of us.
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a member park employee who will be enrolling in either a 2-year or 4-year college who displays a positive attitude and can demonstrate ways in which they put others first as well as a passion towards achieving their goals. Scholarship recipients, along with their employer will be recognized each year at the IATP Annual Conference and Trade Show.
